The crew is vigorously advertising "800," Muthiah's much anticipated biography, which opens on october 6th. In the movie, Madhur Mittal, best known for his part in "Slumdog Millionaire," plays Muralidaran, while mahima nambiar plays Madhimalar Ramamurthy, the cricketer's wife. The script was co-written by Shehan Karunatilaka, the 2022 Booker prize winner, and was directed by MS Sripathy. VVS Laxman attended the pre-release screening of the movie.
