There have been rumours for a while now that megastar Chiranjeevi's next movie, #Mega157, is mostly being compared to a jagadeka veerudu athiloka sundari film. The film is being helmed by Vassisht of Bimbisara fame. In an interview with a major english newspaper, the director even confirmed this, stating that megastar will have a part in this fantasy adventure drama that is appropriate for her age. Now for the twist.
For good or ill, the producers of the film jagadeka veerudu athiloka sundari have today released a "public note" in which they assert ownership of the character, story, and all other sequel-related rights to the movie and its narrative, and they caution filmmakers against remaking or expanding the movie in any manner.
