Don't release 'Leo' in Sri Lanka..!? MPs letter to Vijay!?
Sri Lankan tamil MPs have written to Thalapathy Vijay requesting not to release the movie 'Leo' in sri lanka on october 20. Leo is a massive action movie starring Thalapathy Vijay. The film is slated to release worldwide on october 19. But Sri Lankan tamil MPs have requested Vijay through a letter not to release the film as there is a hartal to be observed on the 20th in Sri Lanka.
The letter published in this regard says, "Joseph Vijay's film 'Leo' will be released worldwide on the 19th of this month. Preparations are also being made to release it in Sri Lanka. Eelam Tamils are enjoying watching their films. Meanwhile, millions of Eelam Tamils are also your fans. Recently, Saravanan Raja, the district Judge of Mullaithivu, resigned from his position and left the country due to the pressure of the Sri Lankan government and threats to his life.
Protests are taking place in many places demanding justice for it. Accordingly, we have decided to observe hartal in North east on the 20th of this month. The release of their film on this day is a setback for our struggle. Also, it will be an act of insulting Eelam Tamils. As you have a very close relationship with Eelam Tamils and you have lakhs of fans, we request you to suspend the screening of the Leo movie in sri lanka on the 20th of this month. Politicians in sri lanka have requested actor Vijay.
