Actress maanvi gagroo recently told in an interview how she thought that there would be 'unnecessary opinions' on her relationship with Kumar Varun. She also talked about facing the pressures of marriage.

Maanvi Gagroo talked about keeping her relationship a secret till marriage

Recently, in a conversation with 'News18', she revealed what inspired her to keep their relationship a secret until their marriage. “It was a conscious decision, exactly that,” he said. We were both clear from the beginning. Our friends knew. It is not that we hid our relationship. We used to go out together and attend events, but we never talked about it publicly and we wanted to keep it that way.

Maanvi further said, “Our relationship was a very private thing for both of us. We thought this would bring up a lot of unnecessary opinions. I didn't want any of that. Whether they were important to me or not, I didn't want them to be around us and invade our personal space.

Maanvi Gagroo asked why she did not share glimpses of wedding preparations

The 'Tripling' star further says that not sharing glimpses of her wedding preparations was not an easy task. He said, “I am very superstitious and I am always worried about being cheated. During the last month before our wedding, I wanted to post things like '30 days left' or '20 days left', but I held back. The first time we went public about our relationship was when we posted wedding photos.

Maanvi Gagroo talked about the pressure of marriage

Did he ever feel pressure to get married? In response to this question, the actress said, “When I was around 27-28 years old, I had a little pressure from my parents, who asked me if I was planning to get married and if I get married, when will I do it? He asked me, 'Is anyone there?' What's going on?' Some relative or cousin would call me suddenly and ask me about my wedding plans and it would bother me because I would have no answer.”

Manvi Gagroo, 38, adds, "I didn't even know him well and I thought to myself, 'Who are you to ask me?' But that pressure was not that strong or that much from my parents and maybe that's because I used to be single. My sister and I told them at a very early age that we would find our partners. He was also very happy to be freed from that responsibility.”
