Brahmin Nayanthara Faces Trouble
Annapoorani (Nayanthara) is from a traditional Iyengar family in Srirangam. Rangarajan (Achyuth Kumar), her father, is a temple cook who left high-paying occupations to serve Lord Ranganathar. Annapoorani is a kid born with heightened taste receptors. She needs flavour so strongly that she craves it even in her breast milk. Looking up to her father, she aspired to become a great chef.
She is inspired by one of India's most famous chefs, anand Sundarajan (Sathyaraj). The problem is that due to her upbringing, she cannot make non-vegetarian meals. Rangarajan, her father, feels her presence near meat to be a sin. Annapoorani, torn between her passion and her father's conservative ideals, aspires to become a corporate chef. Will she be successful? What challenges did she confront on her path to become a renowned chef? These questions are addressed in 2.5 hours.
Now, a Brahmin community has warned Nayanthara to remove certain dialogues shaming the community and blur scens of her cutting chicken and cooking it.
