Failed Both As Director & Writer!
While his track record as a narrative writer is promising, his attempts to carve out a place as a filmmaker have failed. His directorial debut, Naa peru Surya, Naa Illu India, starring Allu Arjun, was a flop, which lowered his spirits.
Five years later, Vamshi returned to directing with Nithiin's Extra Ordinary Man, which was released on Friday. On the first day, the film received negative reviews and word of mouth. Except for a few amusing conversations, there isn't much to praise about his directing. The weekend box office data indicate that the picture will be a box office failure.
Vamshi's year is turning out to be a forgettable one because he failed as a director as well as a writer. He wrote the script for Akhil's Agent, which turned out to be one of the worst flops of all time. Both of these outcomes will have a significant impact on Vamshi's future tollywood assignments.
