Lee sun Kyun has been found dead in his car in Seongbuk, Seoul. According to media reports, the actor had to data-face an investigation for drug abuse a day before his death. In such a situation, the officials suspect his suicide. Several South Korean news agencies, including K-pop Herald, have confirmed Lee's death. Yonhap news Agency quoted police officials as saying that police are now investigating whether the actor committed suicide, as his manager has claimed that he left a note with suicidal intentions.


The actor played the lead role in the Oscar-winning film 'Parasite'. He has been very active not only in films but also in theatre. Lee has made significant contributions to the Korean entertainment industry. Also won many awards in his name. Lee Sun-kyun is survived by his wife and two sons. The actor's wife Jeon Hye-jin is an actress.


The actor was embroiled in a drugs scandal 

Lee was accused of using drugs at a party at a club in Seoul earlier this year. After this, Lee has been facing trial for drug use since October. This matter had become a big scandal in South Korea. During the trial, Lee claimed that he was tricked into taking drugs and also claimed his innocence. The actor had said that he took drugs by mistake and he was not aware of what he was taking.
