Salaar Was Not Prithviraj’s Debut Telugu Film!
Since malayalam Superstar prithviraj has joined Superstar Prabhas' next film "Salaar," it has been generally assumed that the hero from God's Own Country is making a legitimate tollywood debut. Because he was praised for his films by telugu moviegoers when they saw them on OTT, he undoubtedly gained a following here as well. But here's a surprise.
Prithviraj apparently made his tollywood debut with Okariki Okaru star srikanth Sriram's telugu film "Police Police" a long time ago. Not only did the malayalam hero portray a villain in the film as a corrupt police officer, but he also dubbed for himself in Telugu. Even today, prithviraj has ensured that Salaar is dubbed in all languages, including telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi, and his native Malayalam.
Prithviraj didn't receive known for his performance back then since the film didn't do well, but now he has an enormous fan base throughout the country because of the projects he chose. Salaar may be considered the Mallu hero's second debut in telugu films, and he already appears to have a winner on his hands. Let's see how he fares as a foe in the sequel which might get a release by 2025.
