Shahrukh-Gauri: Gauri Khan's brother Vikrant used to hate Shahrukh! Used to turn red with anger after seeing the actor

Being from different religions, shahrukh khan and gauri khan had to data-face opposition from their families before tying the knot. Gauri's family members, being 'orthodox Hindus' did not want her to marry a Muslim. She felt that Shahrukh was just taking her daughter out for a walk and was not serious about their relationship. Whenever his brother Vikrant Chhibber saw the actor, he felt like killing him.

In an interview, Gauri revealed that Vikrant hated Shahrukh and whenever Shahrukh saw his girlfriend Gauri, he did not like it. Gauri said, 'Vikrant is a very calm boy, but whenever he saw Shahrukh, his data-face would turn red. He was very possessive about me and whenever he found Shahrukh looking at me, he felt like killing me.

Gauri revealed that despite being only one and a half years older, Vikrant had threatened Shahrukh that he would beat him up if he was seen around his sister, but Shahrukh never reacted to the threats because he was Gauri's brother. Gauri said, "They used to shout that I will beat you. These threats must have troubled Shahrukh a lot, but since Vikrant was my brother, Shahrukh would just nod his head and say, 'Yes, yes, whatever you say.'"

Gauri also highlighted that it was okay for her brother to date a girl from class 12, but she was barred from liking a boy when she was in class 9. She said, “I met Shahrukh when I was in ninth grade and he was in 12th. In the same year, in the same month, Vikrant met his girlfriend, it was okay for him to date a girl, but I could not even dare to like Shahrukh. It took four years for Vikrant to accept Shahrukh.”

Shahrukh Khan and gauri khan had an inter-religious marriage. They got married following the rituals of both religions and have often talked about raising their children in a secular manner. The couple has three children, Aryan, Suhana, and Abram.
