It has been reported that five films were initially lined up for release in tollywood this sankranti, including "Guntur Karam," "Hanuman," "Eagle," "Saindhav" and "Na Samiranga." However, "Eagle," starring ravi Teja, has now been withdrawn from the sankranti competition. The decision to remove "Eagle" from the race was made to avoid potential challenges in securing suitable theaters and potential collection impacts with multiple films releasing simultaneously.The release dates for the remaining films are as follows: "Guntur Karam" and "Hanuman" on january 12th, "Saindhav" on january 13th, and "Na Samiranga" on january 14th. Following the withdrawal of "Eagle" from the sankranti race, there were speculations that the theatres initially allotted for "Eagle" would be given to "Na Samiranga." However, producer Venkat Boinapalli denied these rumours, stating that all available theaters would be shared among the movies releasing on Sankranti.
Subsequently, "Eagle" announced its solo release in february, confirming its release on february 9th in telugu and Hindi. The team shared an official statement on Twitter, mentioning their decision to move from sankranti to february to reduce the crowded competition and asserting their unique release date.
Additionally, "Tillu Square," starring Sidhu Jonnalagadda, and "Uru Parama Bhairavakona," starring sandeep Kishan, had initially confirmed their release on february 9th. However, with "Eagle" now occupying that date, both films are currently looking for new release dates.
