Will Vijay attend Kalaignar 100
event or not..!?
It is a big question whether Vijay will come to Kalaignar 100
event, which is being attended by many
people like the
film industry and political
party leaders. The centenary celebrations of the late former
chief minister and DMK
party chief Kalaignar
karunanidhi will be held today (January 6) at the Guindy Race Course ground. The
film industry and leaders of various political parties have been invited to attend. But it is still doubtful whether Vijay will participate in it or not. Muthamil scholar and veteran artist Karunanidhi's centenary was to be held last year. However, due to the Michaung cyclone, the ceremony was postponed. The DMK was going to hold this ceremony in
chepauk but later changed the venue to the Guindy Racecourse ground. For the past one week, the preparations for this
festival have been going on in full swing. Many Fefsi
workers have worked for the event. Not only the stars of the
tamil film industry but also those from the
malayalam and
telugu film industry have been invited to attend the event.
The leading stars of the
tamil film industry and various heroes were invited to the Kalaignar 100 celebrations. In that way, the invitation has been formally sent to actor Vijay as well. However, it is said that his participation in this ceremony is doubtful. So much so, today there are reports that no shooting of
tamil films has taken place on the occasion of the Kalaignar 100 event. Vijay's Varisu was released last year during the
pongal festival. Along with that film,
ajith starrer Thunivu was also released. The
tamil Nadu distribution rights of the film were bought by Udayanidhi Stalin's
red Giant. Subsequently, there was an allegation that fewer theaters were given for the release of Varisu and more theaters were given to Thunivu. Since then, DMK and Vijay are said to be panchayats. Also, many things have happened targeting Vijay like the matter of not permitting the
music release of the film Leo and the matter of inviting a small number of fans to the
success of the film. Keeping this in mind, Vijay is said to be skipping the event.
Kalaignar 100 will be held for about 6 hours. Veteran actors and prominent stars of the
tamil film industry, Rajinikanth and
kamal haasan will participate in it.
malayalam,
telugu, and
kannada film industry artists are also said to be participating in it.
