'Bhramayugam': A Dark Tale Set in Kerala's Mysterious Past.!

Malayalam megastar Mammootty's popularity extends beyond malayalam cinema, resonating well with telugu audiences. The movie 'Yatra,' directed by v Raghava, brought him closer to telugu viewers. Recently, his malayalam films, such as 'Kannur Squad' and 'Cathal The Core,' dubbed into telugu, have garnered positive responses. Now, he is set to lead in the film 'Bhramayugam,' directed by rahul Sadashivan, known for the movie 'Bhuthakalam.'

The film is expected to be set in the dark ages of Kerala, and the title poster and Mammootty's first look have generated considerable interest. The teaser, released by the makers, showcases suspenseful and thrilling elements, creating a dark and horror-themed atmosphere. The visuals in the teaser, data-aligned with the dark theme, leave a strong impact, enhanced by the impressive background music. Towards the end of the teaser, mammootty is revealed in a distinct getup, adding to the intrigue.

'Bhramayugam' is expected to raise the bar with its high production budget and will be released in Hindi, telugu, Tamil, and kannada languages alongside malayalam, aiming for a pan-India audience. Jointly produced by Ramachandra and S. Shashikant under Night Shift Studios and Why Not Studios, the film features arjun Ashokan, siddharth Bharathan, and Amalda Liz in key roles. The movie, currently in the shooting stage, is slated for a summer release.
