'Hanuman' Sets New Milestones with Rs. 150Crores.!

Prashanth Varma's 'Hanuman,' featuring teja Sajja, has become a box office sensation in the indian film industry. Released on january 12 as a Sankranthi gift, the film has surpassed expectations by grossing over Rs. 115 crores worldwide and has already broken even. The movie continues to enjoy packed houses, and its popularity is steadily growing in the North, with theatres being added due to positive responses from the hindi audience.

The inauguration of the ayodhya Ram Mandir has further contributed to 'Hanuman's success in the Northern regions. Trade pundits anticipate that the 'Hanuman' craze will persist at its current level for another week. Audiences have praised every scene in the film, which was made on a modest budget, citing its amazing content and top-notch visuals.


Despite four films being released during the sankranti season, 'Hanuman' is emerging as Tollywood's all-time sankranti record grosser. Allu Arjun's 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' currently holds the record for the highest-grossing film in the sankranti season, grossing over 260 crores worldwide. 'Hanuman' grossed an impressive 140 crores in the first weekend across all languages. With strong collections continuing into the second week, trade pundits predict that the film could achieve a total gross of around 275 crores, surpassing the record set by 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' and becoming the highest-grossing sankranti film in Tollywood.
