Solo Release Promise Shattered.!

The competition for sankranti releases in the telugu film industry has led to a clash of dates, prompting the tollywood Film Chamber to intervene. With five films ready for release, the Film Chamber requested the postponement of one or two movies due to the difficulty in allocating theatres for all of them. Eagle makers initially agreed to postpone their movie but sought a solo release date.

However, despite their request, the Film Chamber assigned february 9th to the Eagle movie, believing no other film was scheduled for that date. Unfortunately, it was later revealed that sandeep Kishan's "Uru Namara Bhairavakona" and Rajinikanth's "Lal Salaam" were also set for release on the same day. Additionally, "Yatra 2" was slated for release on february 8th.

In response to the dilemma, the makers of Eagle wrote a letter to the Film Chamber, urging them to honour their promise of a solo release date. The Film Chamber, in turn, requested the producers of "Bhairava Kona," "Lal Salaam," and "Yatra 2" to consider postponing their films. The unit of "Uru Namara Bhairavakona" cooperated and agreed to release on february 16th.

However, the makers of "Yatra 2" expressed their inability to postpone the film, citing a tamil release as a reason. Interestingly, when the same argument was presented by Rajinikanth's "Lal Salaam," the producers of Eagle were reportedly flexible, stating that they had no issue with a shared release date. producer Dil Raju confirmed this stance in a recent press meet, revealing their intention to secure more screens for the Eagle movie despite not achieving a solo release date.
