Why Is ‘Gangs Of Godavari’ Getting Delayed?
The film's amazing actor Vishwak Sen declared back in december 2023 that he would not be promoting it if its december release date was missed. But as of february 2024, the movie is still being filmed. Although the release date of march 8th has been informally set by the creators, the hero has now said that he will be releasing "Gaami" on that day. What is genuinely taking place, then?
As we previously disclosed, Vishwak Sen recently stated that "Gangs of Godavari" still has to be shot. They spent a day filming the item song with eesha Rebba, called off the session, and then brought in Ayesha Khan to finish it. To finish, there is a battle scene and another song with Vishwak Sen and Neha Shetty. Vishwak, however, claims that the film's delay is the result of a death in a technical team member's family and that he doesn't want to bear the burden of forcing the movie's release.
That could have something to do with the passing of the daughter of renowned composer Ilayaraja, as Yuvan shankar Raja, whose son is writing the music for Gangs of Godavari, requested additional time to process his sister's passing and finish the background score. Now that "Devara" has been replaced by dj Tillu Square and Family Star, Gangs of Godavari must decide whether to pick a date before or after kalki 2898 AD.
