Despite having a large number of supporting actors, some of whom are well-known, Family Star lacks any noteworthy characters. Even veteran performer Jagapathi Babu has a small, standard role. Once more cast in a half-baked character as a sidekick comic, vennela kishore does what he does best. The cast also includes performers like prabhas Sreenu, ajay Ghosh, Divyansha Kaushik, and jabardasth Ramprasad, although none of them really stands out.
Vasuki, who is renowned for having a lovely screen presence, is completely squandered, yet senior Marathi actress rohini hattangadi is used to some extent. Gopisundar's soundtrack is very unimpressive, and this is not the kind of movie that can be made up for with only your background music. While the occasional scene is made better by the background music, Gopisundar's entire body of work is hardly worth talking about. This area falls short in every way, even though it ought to be the foundation of the movie.
The film appears ordinary, and there are no particularly striking images in KU Mohanan's work. Marthand K. Venkatesh's editing is somewhat inconsistent. The movie drags and features a lot of unnecessary sequences, some of which would surprise a general audience to learn how they made it into the final edit.
