Akshay Kumar's Desperate Long Wait for a 'HIT' continues
The biggest problem with Akshay's movie is still that it's a semi-cooked, clichéd comedy. The actors' notoriety plays a major role, yet the plot and acting are still only passable. Fans feel that the trailer overpromised and that it just keeps using the same clichés. Both Akshay's career at the box office and the reviews have been dismal lately. Despite its societal significance, his most recent film, Sarfira, did not win over many fans, and we can clearly see his on-screen persona deteriorating.
The goal of Mudassar Aziz's directing endeavor was to bring back Akshay Kumar's humorous role on cinema. Stars like Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, tapsee pannu, Pragya Jaiswal, Aditya Seal, and Ammy Virk are among its potential cast members. After a 14-year hiatus, the movie also features fardeen khan returning to large screens. Unfortunately, stree 2, which is having a huge influence at the box office, cruelly overshadowed the project. Even john Abraham's Vedaa, which performed admirably in theaters, advanced Khel Khel Mein.
Following Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan's horrific demise, Akshay appeared to acknowledge his errors, but he hasn't made any changes. Even in the comic part that is meant to be his much-praised specialty, his performance lacks depth, and his too dominant presence on screen has bored viewers. The screenplay choice is also appalling. All that fans want is a return to the kind of entertainment that brought them joy in the past. All we can hope for is that Akshay will provide a well-considered project for the fans and make the necessary sacrifices to leave a lasting impression once more! watch this space for further developments.
