The photoshoot, part of the campaign "Leela: The Illusion Of Love," showcased the actress in a vibrant orange saree but drew criticism for allegedly sexualizing Radha, a revered Hindu goddess and consort of Lord Krishna. In response to the controversy, both tamannaah and Torani have removed the images from their instagram accounts.
The controversy began when tamannaah shared her experience of embodying Radha for the campaign, describing a profound connection with the role. She praised karan Torani as a "creative genius" and expressed her artistic fulfillment in the campaign’s visuals. However, the portrayal sparked discontent among netizens, leading to an online campaign urging the actress and designer to cease what they saw as the sexualization of Radha. One user criticized the campaign, expressing their disapproval and calling out tamannaah and Torani.
On a different note, tamannaah bhatia has recently appeared in the song "Aaj Ki Raat" from the film stree 2, where her performance and dance moves received positive feedback. She spoke about the challenges of shooting in freezing temperatures and the joy of celebrating her birthday on set. tamannaah expressed her hope that the film would achieve great success at the box office.
