When Aishwarya Rai Said 'Everything Is Secondary' After Aaradhya Bachchan's Arrival
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, a devoted mother to her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan, has often spoken about how becoming a mother transformed her priorities. Aaradhya, born on november 16, 2011, frequently accompanies her mother to shoots, events, and vacations. aishwarya has openly shared how her life changed since Aaradhya’s arrival.
In an interview with Times Now, aishwarya stated, “Since I was 18, I’ve been managing numerous responsibilities, starting my day at 5:30 am. However, after Aaradhya, my priorities have shifted entirely. She comes first; everything else is secondary.”
Aishwarya and her husband Abhishek Bachchan strive to provide Aaradhya with a ‘normal’ life. She explained, “Aaradhya is always singing and dancing at home, whether to my songs, her father’s, or her grandfather’s. We’re aiming to maintain a normal environment for her.”
Despite their busy schedules, the Bachchans have a nanny for Aaradhya. aishwarya mentioned, “Aaradhya does have a nanny, though I’m advised to have two because the current one often takes long vacations. Nonetheless, I prefer to handle things for Aaradhya myself, even though my schedule sometimes makes that difficult.”
Aishwarya also noted that her mother frequently helps care for Aaradhya, especially when she’s occupied with work. She acknowledged the challenges of balancing work and family, saying, “Every homemaker who works is a hero. It requires great time management and a supportive partner, which I’m fortunate to have.”
Discussing her experience as a mother of a daughter, aishwarya told Pinkvilla, “Being girlish comes naturally. Aaradhya keeps the childlike spirit alive in me, and I’m eternally grateful for this blessing.”
Aishwarya and Aaradhya share a strong bond and are often seen together looking stylish. Recently, aishwarya attended Anant Ambani and radhika Merchant’s wedding with Aaradhya, separate from Abhishek.
