Vivek Vaswani told siddharth Kannan in an interview that, 'We went to Gehlot near Church Road. We ordered butter chicken and naan. He (Shahrukh Khan) told me in front of him, 'My mother is dying'. He opened his heart. Then we went and sat on Marine Drive. He told me about his mother's organ failure.'


Vivek used to send medicines to Shahrukh's ailing mother

When Shahrukh was going through a bad phase, Vivek helped him a lot. He also sent medicines for Shahrukh's ailing mother Latif. vivek said, 'I used to buy expensive medicines here in mumbai and send them to delhi through Raman (Shahrukh's friend) because he was a pilot. But she died.' The actor's mother died in 1991.

Shahrukh's mother wanted her son to become a superstar.
