Prakash Raj is currently seen in the role of Singappa in the film 'Devra Part One' directed by koratala Siva. The film stars Jr NTR, Saif ali Khan, and janhvi kapoor in the lead roles. Meanwhile, the actor has come into the limelight due to a controversy. Prakash has been accused of a loss of Rs 1 crore by filmmaker Vinod Kumar. The producer said that Prakash had cheated him. The actor left the film set without informing him and is not even responding to his calls or messages.

To this, Vinod replied, 'The rest of the three celebrities sitting with you have won the elections, but you lost what you invested, that's the difference. You caused a loss of Rs 1 crore on my shooting set anddisappeared from the set without telling us. What was the reason? Just asking. You said you would call me, but you didn't.'
Prakash Raj is yet to respond to Vinod Kumar's claims, but netizens in the comments section are speculating which film Kumar is referring to. The two previously worked together in the 2021 tamil film 'Enemy'. Vinod Kumar has produced films like 'Enemy', 'Mark Antony', 'Lens', 'Vellayanai', 'And Thittamiraandu' among others.
Recently, Prakash asked actor-turned-politician pawan kalyan to take action against those who adulterated the prasad at the tirupati temple. Replying to Kalyan's tweet on Instagram, he said, 'Dear Pawan Kalyan, this has happened in the state where you are the DCM. Please investigate. Find the culprits and take strict action. Why are you spreading fear and inciting violence? Raise this issue at the national level. There is enough communal tension in our country (thanks to your friends at the Centre).'
