Kalki 2898 AD: When will the shooting of kalki 2898 AD sequel be completed? Producers give a big update.


During the screening of kalki 2898 AD at the Busan international Film festival (BIFF) this year, the film's producers Swapna Dutt and Priyanka Dutt shared an interesting update about its next part. In a conversation, both of them also talked about the plans to distribute their film in china and Korea.

Speaking to Deadline, swapna and priyanka said that about 35 to 40 percent of the shooting of the film's sequel has been completed. They intend to start production again in the second quarter of 2025 and complete the film by the end of the year. During this conversation, they hoped to continue expanding the kalki Cinematic Universe and expressed the possibility of many other titles coming like this.


Swapna said, "The first part has done well in India, North America, and the UK, among other places." The film has the potential to make a mark worldwide and we want the first part to reach as many countries as possible before releasing the second part. "I wouldn't say inspired, but it has given us a lot to learn from. I think it is a great achievement to present a visual experience that others have compared to Marvel," swapna said when asked if the film is inspired by Marvel.

Kalki 2898 AD was first screened at the 4,000-seat BIFF theater at Busan cinema Center, the festival's largest theater. kalki 2898 AD is the third highest-grossing telugu film of all time. swapna said, "We have started crossing all kinds of boundaries. telugu is now one of the most important languages in indian cinema."


Kalki 2898 AD is directed by Nag Ashwin, who is also Priyanka's husband. priyanka said about her sister Sapna, "We can depend on each other, whether it is something negative or positive. We know that we are always there for each other to talk to each other, to sort things out."Both Swapna and priyanka are also working on the film Champion, directed by pradeep Advaitham, which will show a love story of the year 1955. They are also currently working on the pre-production of Aakasham Lo Oka Tara, directed by Pawan Sadaneni.
