Therefore, she felt that they were the perfect people to get inspiration to play her character Naila Awasthi in CTRL. She also said that Alana and her husband are a couple of bloggers. Ananya further added, "(Alana Panday and her husband Ivor) They make vlogs about everything, from when they met, their marriage, Alana's pregnancy, and even their journey with their baby, they have covered everything on their YouTube channel. Talking about work, Alana Panday is a part of the reality TV series, The Tribe, produced under producer-director karan Johar's Dharmatic Entertainment.
