We believe that when this story premieres worldwide on november 22, it will be loved by the audience all over the world, especially the youth...”The story of the series is inspired by Mekhola Bose
Expressing his feelings, Sooni Taraporevala said, “I saw Mekhola Bose dancing for the first time and from that moment I fell in love with waacking, whereas till then I did not even know what it was called. This story is also inspired by her, which is offbeat as well as very fun, and I am over the moon to present the Wack Girls to the world. But this is not like any ordinary dance show. All 6 girls have very different personalities, each of which has its problems which the audience will love, and they will feel connected to some character or the other. '
He further said, 'But one thing is common in all these girls, they are all defying the old norms and fearless nature, who live life on their terms and make their mark with hard work. I am thankful to Prime Video, the amazing team working together in this show, and all these girls who have amazed me with their performance, andwho have made my dream come true with their hard work. Now I can't wait to dance with the audience.."
