Perhaps housed in a 90 year old Portuguese bungalow painted in a bold scarlet hue, the restaurant is the brainchild of malaika arora, her son Arhaan Khan, his childhood friend Malaya Nagpal, and restaurateur Dhaval Udeshi. With its inviting ambiance and thoughtfully curated menu, Scarlett house is more than just a restaurant it’s a reflection of Arora’s passion for food, wellness, and creating memorable experiences.

Meanwhile Scarlett house spans 2,500 square feet, preserving the bungalow’s original character with restored beams, shuttered windows, and cozy interiors. Victorian chairs, floral upholstery, gramophones, and warm woolen throws give the space the feel of a chalet, perfect for intimate gatherings. “I wanted a place where you could just be, without feeling rushed," says malaika, who envisioned Scarlett house as a spot for people to unwind with friends over good food and warm hospitality.

Moreover the restaurant’s retail section extends the philosophy of healthy living, with products like millet noodles, protein bars, and butternuts. Every element has been meticulously curated, ensuring the space is not just a mishmash of ideas but a cohesive celebration of food, wellness, and community. For malaika and Arhaan, Scarlett house is a labor of love, born from their shared passion for food and entertaining.
