According to reports, 'Vidaamuyarchi' can now be released at the end of January. According to a recent post by industry insider sridhar Pillai, trade analysts claim that the film will likely be releasedon january 30, 2025. However, nothing has been confirmed from the producer's side yet.The film Vidhayamuaarchi, directed by Magizh Thirumeni, is an action thriller film that is speculated to be an adaptation of the hollywood film Breakdown. Although it is not confirmed, the teaser of the film has revealed similarities between the two. Actually, 'Vidayamuaarchi' is an unofficial remake of the hollywood film Breakdown. Paramount Pictures has decided to sue Lyca Productions.
In such a situation, to secure the official remake rights of 'Vidayamuaarchi', Lyca will have to pay $10 million i.e. Rs 85 crore to Paramount Pictures. Instead of paying this amount, lyca productions has offered Paramount Pictures a partnership deal for the release of the film. This is the real reason for the delay in the release of the film.
'Vidamuyarchi' was originally made in Tamil language and was scheduled to be released on january 10, 2025, which was postponed. Now its new release date is awaited. 'Vidamuyarchi' is written and directed by filmmaker Magizh Thirumeni. Through this film, ajith and Magizh Thirumeni are working together for the first time. It also stars trisha krishnan, arjun Sarja, and Regina Cassandra.
