This film, made on the emergency imposed in the country during the tenure of former PM indira gandhi in 1975, has been directed by Kangana. She has also played the role of former PM Indira in the film. Released on January 17, this film got an opening of Rs 2.6 crore on the first day.

The film's collection increased on the second and third day and it reached from 3.6 crores to 4.25 crores.
