Filmmaker sandeep Reddy Vanga challenged production houses to not cast big stars like Ranbir Kapoor, Triptii Dimri, and rashmika mandanna, whom he has worked with in ‘Animal’.

Filmmaker sandeep Reddy Vanga recently took a dig at a big Mumbai-based production house, accusing them of industry bias. Without dropping names, the director revealed that an actor who starred in ‘Kabir Singh’ was rejected during an audition solely due to their association with his film. Frustrated by the unfair treatment, Vanga challenged the company to do the same with big stars like Ranbir Kapoor, Triptii Dimri, and rashmika mandanna, whom he has worked with in ‘Animal’.

In an interview with trade expert Komal Nahta, sandeep Reddy Vanga shared that a young actor who starred alongside shahid kapoor in 'Kabir Singh' was denied a role solely due to his association with the film. He said, “There’s one big production company in Bombay, I don’t want to take the name. It’s not like I am scared but I don’t want to take the name. Ek actor, kabir singh mein jo act kiya, wo gaya audition dene office mein. Popular actor from Kabir Singh. Audition dene ke baad bole ki ‘you’ve acted in kabir singh, right? We are not casting you. Sandeep reddy Vanga questioned why these production houses had no issue working with big names like Triptii Dimri, rashmika mandanna, and vishal Mishra. Calling out the hypocrisy, he dared them to stop working with these stars if they truly had the courage.

“Tu wapas wo log ko bolna chahiye tha ki now sandeep is working with Ranbir Kapoor. Say the same thing to Ranbir Kapoor. Don’t take Triptii Dimri. Don’t take Rashmika.
