Former IPL administrator Lalit Modi has got a big setback. The prime minister of Vanuatu has ordered the cancellation of Lalit Modi's passport. Lalit Modi has Vanuatu citizenship. It is worth noting that Lalit Modi had recently applied to give up indian citizenship. indian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir jaiswal said on friday that 'Lalit Modi had applied to surrender his indian passport at the indian High Commission in London.' Jaiswal said 'We have come to know that he has Vanuatu citizenship. We will continue to take action against him as per the law.'

Lalit Modi has been the former chairman of IPL andhe is considered the main strategist of IPL's success.
