Comedian Kunal Kamra is in the news due to his controversial joke. Recently, Mumbai's Habitat Club was vandalized, to which he gave his reaction. Kamra issued a statement on instagram condemning the incident and said that the entertainment venue is only a platform, which provides a place for all kinds of shows. He clarified that Habitat or any other venue is not responsible for his comedy nor does it have any control over his content.In his post, Kamra gave a sarcastic example criticizing this method of protest. He said that attacking the venue out of anger over the words of a comedian is as ridiculous as overturning a truck carrying tomatoes because someone did not like the butter chicken served. He supported freedom of expression and said that it should not be used only to flatter the powerful and rich people.
