'Idli Kadai' actor and director dhanush announced the release date of his film with a new poster. In the poster, the actor is seen wearing a crisp shirt and dhoti, dancing with a group of people in a festival-like set-up. Earlier, the film was scheduled to release on April 10, clashing with ajith Kumar's 'Good Bad Ugly'. It was later postponed to avoid a box-office clash.

Today, Friday 4 April 2025, dhanush shared a poster of the film and announced that it will release in theatres on October 1. 'Idli Kadhai' is Dhanush's fourth directorial venture after 'Pa Paandi', 'Raayan' and 'Nilavukku En Mel Ennadi Kobam'. Apart from directing 'Idli Kadhai', he is also playing a pivotal role in the film.


The film is an emotional drama based on rural area, which will reunite dhanush and Nithya Menen after 'Thiruchirambalam'. 'Idli Kadhai' stars dhanush, Nithya Menen, Arun Vijay, shalini Pandey, prakash raj and Rajkiran in the lead roles.The film is jointly produced by Wunderbar Films and Don Pictures.
