House arrest Row: The National Commission for women (NCW) on Friday issued summons to actor Ejaz Khan and Ullu app CEO Vibhu Agarwal after an objectionable clip of Ullu app's reality show 'House Arrest' went viral.
A video clip of 'House Arrest' went viral on social media, which allegedly showed women participating in intimate tasks and objectionable challenges. people got angry after watching this clip and termed the show as spreading obscenity. NCW said in its post, 'Suo motu cognizance has been taken on the complaint of obscene content in Ullu app's show 'House Arrest'. In the viral video, women are being forcibly incited to do obscene acts. This platform is promoting obscenity and violating consent.'
'House Arrest' is a reality show hosted by 'Bigg Boss' fame Ejaz Khan. The show streams on the Ullu app, which is known for its bold and often obscene content.
