Aamir Khan Recalls Son Azad’s Time With Dharmendra ..?
He recounted this while speaking at the 56th international Film festival of India.
Aamir revealed that he had grown very close to dharmendra, especially during the last year of his life, meeting him 7–8 times.
Meeting dharmendra with Azad
During one of these visits, Aamir decided to bring azad along.
He felt it was important for his son to meet dharmendra, whose work azad hadn’t really experienced.
Aamir said the visit lasted a couple of hours and described it as wonderful.
Dharmendra: The Actor
Aamir reflected on Dharmendra’s career, noting:
Known primarily as the action hero and He-Man.
Excelled in romance, comedy, and drama, showing versatility.
Often underrated, according to Aamir, as many might not have noticed his performances outside action films.
He called dharmendra “one of the finest actors” and mentioned always looking up to him.
Dharmendra: The Human Being
Aamir emphadata-sized Dharmendra’s gentle and warm personality.
Regardless of who he met—colleague or someone outside the industry—Dharmendra was always soft-spoken and welcoming.
He described dharmendra as not only a fine actor but also a great human being.
Paying Tribute
Aamir was among the many celebrities who attended Dharmendra’s funeral.
Other stars paying respects included amitabh bachchan, salman khan, Anil Kapoor, Jeetendra, Sanjay Dutt, and Shatrughan Sinha.
Dharmendra, fondly known as Bollywood’s He-Man, passed away on november 24 at the age of 89.
Aamir expressed that it was a great loss for all of us.
