Nagarjuna Speaks on Role in ‘Dhurandhar’ and Praises Akshaye Khanna
Clarifying the Rumor
South superstar nagarjuna addressed circulating rumors that he was offered the role of Rehman the dacoit in Dhurandhar.
In an interview with bollywood Hungama, he stated: “I was never offered this role. However, I would have really loved to have received it.”
Praise for the Film and Cast
Nagarjuna described Dhurandhar as a “wonderful film” and commended Aditya Dhar’s direction, noting his admiration for the director’s earlier work, Uri.
He highlighted the performances of the cast, especially akshaye khanna, saying, “Everyone's performances in the film are excellent, especially Akshaye Khanna’s.”
Nagarjuna’s Recent and Upcoming Projects
He was last seen in bollywood in Brahmastra: Part One - shiva alongside ranbir kapoor and alia Bhatt.
His upcoming film, Sankranti, is scheduled for release on january 15, 2027.

Akshaye Khanna’s Future Projects
Akshaye Khanna is expected to reprise his role as Rehman the dacoit in Dhurandhar: The Revenge (Dhurandhar 2), releasing on march 19, 2026.
