Manoj scores once again with 'Aligarh'

'Aligarh' is one of the most expected movies in Bollywood. The movie is based on the real life incident of Dr.Srinivas Ramchandra Siras. He got suspended from his job due to his sexual orientation. He was working as a professor at Aligarh Muslim University.


It was said that he was a gay. Shrinivas role is done by Manoj Bajpai and Rajkumar Rao will be essaying role of a journalist. As he is gay he was treated as an outsider and to compound the social isolation he experiences, journalists break into his house and interrupt an intimate episode.


The trailer was released yesterday evening and it was so sad and painful. The movie recently got a standing ovation at the 20th Busan International Film Festival. It was also screened at the London Film Festival and the 17th Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival.


The trailer got some attention and Film maker Karan Johar praised the trailer. The movie will release on February 26th. Earlier there were lots of trouble with censors and now all barricades were removed for the movie.
