Revathi to direct 'Queen' in Tamil and Telugu
'Queen'is one of the successful movies made in Bollywood. The movie was directed by Vikas Bahl. Kangana Ranaut did lead role. The movie also featured Lisa Haydon and Rajkummar Rao in supporting roles.
The movie is about how a Punjabi girl makes her Honeymoon to Paris after her fiance called off the wedding. Amit Trivedi provided the musical score and Guptan also wrote the lyrics. The movie won lots of awards and accolades. The Hindi version not just broke the records but it also created a new trend.
Now the movie is coming to South India and the producers have just found their director. Famous actress cum Director Revathi will shape the movie in both Tamil and Telugu languages.
Prashanth's father Thiyagarajan will produce the movie under Staar productions banner. Suhasini Maniratnam will penn the dialogues. The lead actors were not finalized. The selection for the casting is happening and the team members have decided to start the movie by month of October.
