TRADE - 'JANATHA GARAGE' Kicked to 3rd SPOT
'Janatha Garage' which rocked the first weekend has just failed miserably the following days. The screen count was reduced, Theatre occupancy fell to just 50% and the movie is just failing right now. As the movie is shattering, other movies which released last weekend are completely dominating Box-Office.
'Jyo Achyutananda' which opened to good reviews and positive critics has now started to dominate Box-Office. The movie has grossed $200K in just two days. However the premiere gross was just $30K. The movie got praises from various reputed directors and celebrities.
As usual the movie with content wins the race. We need to wait a while to see whether the movie can cross 'Pellichoopulu' which grossed more than 1 Million Dollars. The movie has to collect another $200k to get break-even for the overseas distributor.
The second spot is filled with Vikram's 'Inkokkadu'. Despite mixed reviews and negative criticism, the movie is storming Box-Office. The collections are raking in USA and it is second best for Vikram after 'I'.
