Manushi Chhillar an Indian model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned 54th Femina Miss India World 2017 by outgoing queen Femina Miss India World 2016 Priyadharshini Chatterjee at the finale event held in at Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai on Sunday June 25, 2017. She represented the state of Haryana as Miss India Haryana 2017 at Femina Miss India 2017 beauty pageant and competed with 29 contestants from other states and Delhi.
Sources have stated that Manushi Chhillar is a trained Kuchipudi dancer, has trained under legendary dancers Raja, Radha and Kaushalya Reddy and she has also been a part of The National School of Drama.
It was stated that her Beauty with the
purpose project for Miss India 2017 is to spread awareness about
menstrual hygiene through her initiative "Project Shakti". She is a
talented girl and had come across many stages in the process and had finally
won Miss India title.
