Nandamuri Balakrishna, last seen in the mass sentimental entertainer Jai Simha costarring Nayanthara and directed by KS Ravikumar, will next be seen in the prestigious project of his career, the biopic of former CM of Andhra Pradesh, his father, which will be launched soon.
This movie, to be directed by maverick maker Teja, will begin shooting once the director completes shooting of his Aata Nade Veta Nade with Venkatesh and Shriya Saran. NTR Biopic will be presenting important personal and political highlights of the legend's career with realistic visuals.
While it was initially speculated that the team had approached senior actresses Nadhiya and Tabu to essay the role of NTR's wife Basavatarakam and play the pair of Balaiya, it has now been said that the team has contacted National award-winning powerhouse performer Vidya Balan for the role. Vidya Balan rose to fame for her performance in 'The Dirty Picture'. The team NTR is awaiting an official confirmation from the talented actress. Will she say Yes?
