Samantha completes all sides of works from her side!
Samantha, who is on a roll, with her impressive performance as the village belle Ramalakshmi in the latest blockbuster Rangasthalam directed by Sukumar, earning her overwhelming positive reviews for her stunning image makeover and transformation as an authentic rustic village babe, is all set for her next experiment.
She had just completed wrapping her shooting for her next release, the biopic of the legendary actress Savithri, Mahanati / Nadigaiyar Thilagam directed by Naga Ashwin of Yevade Subramanyam fame. Though it is Keerthy Suresh who plays the titular role, it is through the narration of Samantha's character that the whole movie unfolds.
Samantha plays a journalist named Madhuravani in the movie and will be paired with Tollywood sensation Vijay Deverakonda of Arjun Reddy fame, and he plays a character named Vijay Antony. While it was announced by the actress herself that she will be dubbing for the first time in Telugu by herself, today she had completed dubbing for her part and took it to twitter to express her joy. Mahanati releases worldwide on May 9.
