Dhanush had a mixed 2018 as his last movie Maari 2 was a commercial as well as critical disaster though the Rowdy baby song was a hit, and before that he had acted in the successful raw and rustic gangster flick Vada Chennai directed by Vetrimaran.
Now, the actor is shooting for Asuran directed by Vetrimaran again after Pollathavan, Aadukalam and Vada Chennai, and this movie is bankrolled by Kalaipuli S Thanu in his V Creations and will have Music by GV Prakash. The team has now roped in Navdeep and Kajal as new additions. Already this couple worked together in 'Chandamama' earlier.
While Mallu beauty Manu warrier making her debut in Tamil with Asuran, the movie's casting has got an update as actor Karunas son Ken will be playing an important role in the movie, and it must be noted that Karunas himself has acted in Dhanush movies like Thiruda Thirudi, Kodi and Pollathavan.
