Oviya says, "Don't Judge me based on movie... I don't promote Smoking, Drinking, Pre-marital sex..."
Actress Oviya who started with homely roles in movies like Kalavani and Muthuku Muthaaga later ventured into glamour with extreme hot cleavage show in Kalakalapu following which she was seen as a glam doll in several B grade movies in Tamil and Hindi as well.
Later she participated in Ulganayagan Kamal Haasan hosted a reality game show Bigg Boss and gained worldwide fame among Tamils and got new fan following and she had bagged few movies offers like Sillukuvarpatti Singam, Kanchana 3, and few more movies.
The actress data-faced huge problems due to her last release 90ml and during one of the interviews she lashed out at media for portraying her in the bad light. She said, "People should understand one thing. Just because we act bad, doesn't mean we are bad in real lives. The character in 90ml drinks, smokes and prefers pre-marital sex, but not Oviya. Media should stop asking such non-sense questions hereafter."
