Indian base couple makes a huge contribution

The famous Nalanda University which is an international center for learning will be opened shortly in Bihar has organized and sum of 1 million $ was contributed by the Indian based couple who has helped as a professional chair for the school of historical studies. The contribution was made by a Swiss Citizen who is basically from Rajasthan and he is Rajendra Joshi and his spouse is Ursula Joshi.


A cheque ahich symbolizes the amount was handed over by Ursula Joshi at a function which was held on Tuesday at the Indian International Center and she handed over the cheque to the Nalanda Vice Chancellor Gopa Sabharwal. Meanwhile the Nalanda University has also got contributions from countries like Australia, China, Singapore, Laos and Thailand and few have contributed to the University in the form of Books.


Gopa Sabharwal has said the contributions were most precious for the University for the succeeding years. The University is grateful to the Joshi Couple who has contributed from Pharmaceutical background who have planned to help for the supporting the School of Historical studies and to impart discipline in this scenario.


Rajendra joshi has started his pharmaceutical business in the name of Fumapharm with his Swizz partners and aids for treating Psoriasis and Multiple Sclerosis. Ursula Joshi felt very much honored to contribute to the World’s oldest University for the School of Historical Studies. Presently Nalanda is organized by several East Asian Summit countries. The University has plans to start School of Buddhist Studies and Comparative Religion and Philosophy by 2016.
