Diwali Celebration In Northern Phoenix

With the growth of the indian diaspora in many areas, diwali celebrations have ingrained themselves into everyday life in the United States. This is the latest from Northern Phoenix, Arizona, where the NRIs got together to celebrate the festival. NRIs in Northern Phoenix have gathered this Sunday, october 23, to celebrate diwali by planning a lunch gathering.
The event, where NRIs took part in a variety of entertaining games and dance performances, was a success. Children, families, and adult parents all enthusiastically engaged and competed for exciting prizes. The members enthusiastically loved the event, which featured a vast buffet of delectable foods and desserts that embodied the festival's atmosphere. The gathering was arranged by Aravind, Madan, Pavan Reddy, Narayan Reddy, and Ajay, who also invited the NRIs residing in the area.
Approximately 4 million indian immigrants reside in America. When celebrating diwali in America, these American indians go all out. The event was initially observed in the white house in 2002, and in 2007 it received formal government recognition from the United States. Since that time, diwali has been widely observed in America. In order to make the event a federal holiday, the US government actually launched the diwali Day Act in 2021.
