Why Jagan forced Vijayamma to quit deeksha?
In a totally surprising move, YSRCP president Jaganmohan Reddy has reportedly ordered his mother Vijayamma to quit the ongoing fast that she had started for the sake of equal justice to all regions of Andhra Pradesh with Congress moves on bifurcation.
Sources say that Jagan called Vijayamma to stop her indefinite fast but reportedly said that only Vijayamma's deeksha was called off but not the party's fight for equal justice. Guntur police reportedly evicted Vijayamma and shifted to government hospital due to her deteriorating health earlier in the day.
However Vijayamma continued her fast in hospital before Jagan persuaded her to call it off. The question doing the rounds is in case Jagan was worried about her health then why did he make her sit for deeksha and was he trying to do some damage control as the party didn’t get the expected wave of support from Seemandhra agitators.
