Hyderabad Airport gets a Swanky New Interim Terminal

SIBY HERALD
Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International Airport has got its new interim domestic arrivals terminal now. This new terminal spread across 4000 square meters in the east of the existing passenger terminal building.

This new terminal is built to serve passengers and for their domestic baggage. This new terminal has 4 new baggage carousel belts and each of them is of 45-meters length. This terminal will also handle 50% of the domestic arrival traffic and more than 30,000 passengers.

It also has a wide corridor with two 26-meter length inclinators. It should be noted that the Hyderabad International Airport inaugurated an Interim International Departure Terminal (IIDT) last year and that operations began on October 23, 2018. That terminal was also designed with respect to the growth in the passenger traffic.
