Jagan To Address People To Convince About Three Capitals
andhra pradesh cabinet will sit on december 27th to discuss over the recommendations of the GN Rao committee over three capital proposals in Andhra Pradesh. This is the first time the cabinet meeting is being held outside amaravati after it was announced as the capital by chandra babu Naidu led telugu desam party government.
Jagan may want to send an indication that he is favoring vishakapatnam with this move. The chief minister is likely to address the people after the cabinet meeting and will try to clear all the apprehensions about the idea of Three Capitals. On the other side, farmers who have given their lands for amaravati are agitating for the last one week against this decision of the Government. They are demanding that the government should withdraw the proposal and continue amaravati as the Capital.
On the other side, they are hoping that the central government will interfere in the issue and retract the State Government's decision. Today, they have sent mass letters to prime minister narendra modi asking him to interfere. Meanwhile, the state bjp leaders are themselves divided about this issue which casts doubts over the Center's interference.
