D.K Aruna Releases Press Club Hyderabad Diary- 2014

HYDERABAD, January 29, 2014: The Information and Public Relation Minister for Andhra Pradesh, D.K. Aruna has promised to provide sufficient funds for the up-gradation of the Press Club Hyderabad, and said it should be developed into a model Press Club in the country. Ms. Aruna, who released the Press Club Hyderabad Diary-2014 at a function held at the Press Club premises on Wednesday, said that welfare of journalists was on the top of the agenda of the Government. It would continue in the Telangana state, which will be become a reality soon, she said. Issues like mediclaim policies to journalists and State Government awards to journalists would be looked into and decision would be taken soon. Namaste Telangana Editor, Allam Narayana said the Press Club diary was sought-after as it contains information of the entire media. He hoped that Press Club will introduce more professional activities. Press Club President, R. Ravikanth Reddy explained the professional activities being taken up in the Press Club apart from how efforts were on to encourage families to use the club. He sought the cooperation of the Minister in improving infrastructure so that the club could thrive with professional activity. Rajamouli Chary, Secretary also spoke. P.V. Srinivas, Treasurer, presented a vote of thanks. Executive Committee members, Duggu Raghu, Srinivas, K.Krishna, Gayatri and others participated.
