Can Sonia-Rahul create the T-wave?
Despite repeated pleas from their party members in Seemandhra and many other intellectual opinions, Sonia Gandhi went ahead stubbornly to break Andhra Pradesh into two pieces. She was confident that TRS is going to merge with Congress.
But everything has backfired with KCR making it clear that forget merging even alliance is not going to happen. Now, Congress has become alone and has no chance of winning the confidence of the Telangana voters.
As a result, it is heard that Sonia and son Rahul Gandhi have decided to enter the field. They are expected to do an extensive tour of the Telangana region very soon. Sources say they are hopeful about their visit bringing good wave for the party.
But the way KCR has been projecting himself as the true champion of Telangana, even the presence of Sonia and Rahul may not make much difference. On the Seemandhra side, there is no chance that Sonia and Rahul can ever step today or forever.
