PCC President Ponnala Lakshmaiah and CLP leader Jana Reddy are seniors in Telangana Congress. Both were worked as Ministers in YSR and Kiran Cabinets. Differences aroused between them after the formation of Telangana state. Jana was made his attempts to force the Congress High Command to announce his name as Chief Minister before the elections. But Congress High Command was kept away his request. Jana Reddy was also failed to get PCC Chief in Telangana. High Command ignores Jana and prefers Ponnala for that position. From then onwards, gap has increased between two leaders. Jana Reddy is continued his attempts to dethrone Ponnala from PCC Chief Post with strong Reddy lobbying at New Delhi. Recently, Ponnla was success in organizing co-ordination committee in presence of Digvijay Singh. This causes irritation to Jana Reddy. At the time of Medak election campaign differences between two leaders were further increased. Both the leaders were supposed to participate in Patanchervu meeting. Jana was arrived there within time and waiting for Ponnala till evening. As per buzz, Jana came to know that Ponnala was stayed in media house for interview and lashed out Ponnala on phone. Jana is conducting separate programmes when Ponnala held discussions with party cadre in Gandhi Bhavan. There is no co-ordination between them.
